As part of the Midland Main Line Upgrade we are planning to reconstruct Bromham Road Bridge in Bedford
Bromham Road Bridge is a two span brick arch bridge that lies to the north of Bedford Central station and carries the 2-lane single carriageway Bromham Road over the Midland Main Line.
The bridge was demolished and reconstructed in November 2019 for overhead line equipment (electrified wires carrying 25,000 volts) to pass beneath.
