Gipsy Patch Lane bridge

We experienced a significant engineering problem that prevented us from getting the new bridge into position when planned and held up reinstatement of the railway.
Working around the clock we resolved the issue and rebuilt the railway as quickly as possible.

During Christmas 2020 we completed the follow up work needed on the railway, to compact the track stone (tamping). This improves performance as well as the life span of the track.
The focus has now moved to the road underneath the bridge which is now being lowered and widened.
