Nearly 20 million passengers pass through Liverpool Lime Street every year
Built in 1836, Liverpool Lime Street opened at a time of rapid growth for the railway in Britain. It had its first expansion in 1849, a large château-like building which now fronts the station.

Step-free access:All entrances. The Lime Street entrance has a lift from street level to the concourse. There is also a lift from the long-stay car park to the concourse.
There are two low ticket machines next to Café Nero and the booking office.
