4 . How will Network Rail store and protect your personal information?
Network Rail have put in place appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent your personal information from being accidentally lost, altered, used, disclosed or accessed in an unauthorised way. In addition, we limit access to your personal information to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to access this and who are subject to a duty of confidentiality. In the case of third-party data processors, they will only process your personal information on our instructions and have their own legal obligations under data protection law to protect your personal information and keep it secure.
Network Rail surveillance data is not processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Network Rail have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and, will notify affected parties and the regulator of such instances where we are legally required to do so.
5. How long will Network Rail keep your personal information for?

Although the form is not mandatory, it provides guidance and ensures that we can review your request as swiftly as possible. Network Rail use third parties to manage and provide surveillance systems in our managed station car park. Retail tenants may also manage and process surveillance data within their units. There should be clear signs which will provide you with the data controller of the equipment, and this may vary from station to station.
