To celebrateInternational Women's Day(Sunday 8 March) we've joined forces withSoutheasternto help showcase just how many great opportunities there are for female applicants across the railway!
Inviting students on a special journey
Ahead of International Women's Day, Network Rail and Southeastern ran a special service – the first fully female operated train.
Students and a cross-section of employees – from apprentices to drivers and engineers – were invited onto the train fromLondon Victoriato Gillingham, which was closed to the paying public.
