紧急情况A Blanket Emergency Speed restriction is one that is applied over a wide area in response to, for example, bad weather. Advice to drivers and signallers on when a blanket emergency speed restriction is imposed or withdrawn is via Operations Control. If the restriction is imposed for more than 24hrs then Operations Control will make further arrangements. An Emergency Speed Restriction is a reduction of line speed that has not been notified in the Weekly Operating Notices
