At the time of the accident Phillip was working for Ameycolas joint venture, operating on the ballast cleaning train. It was during a 2 week maintenance break at Taunton high output depot.
The accident, and the scarring it left Phillip with, hugely dented his confidence, affecting his work and home life. Extensive dental work took 9 months to complete, during which time Phillip was embarrassed by my missing teeth.
