Liverpool Lime Street

Liverpool Lime Street is the main station serving the city centre. The train shed - an impressive structure even by today's standards - was the largest in the world when it was built in 1867, with a span of 200 feet (61 m). Subsequently expanded, station features include a glazed roof - supported externally by red columns - and a bright concourse.
